Immobiliser don't want me to go out in the snow  Can normally get it going by disconnecting battery for a while....but starter will not engage at all, as it has no power going to it. |

Oh poor Mac ..er them discos are pigs for immobilisers what year is yours and is fly by wire throttle

Duh just looked at your picture Mac ...right then yours ain't a fly by so that's good news, the immobiliser for discos cuts out the starter and diesel pump shut off. On your year this is controlled by a black control box which is found on top of the heater box which u get to by removing the radio, they can be repaired by removing the box and joining the wires. Don't have colour codes on me could get them from work on Monday if any good to ya. Sorry that's not a repair that gets it going by taking out immobiliser. Normaly only one circuit goes at a time so if you were to run a wire from your fuse box . So other way round run a wire from your starter solenoid and flash it on your main live under your bonnet your starter would work.. If u get stuck or need help I can talk better than write my number is 07958943511
