Hi all, I recently bought a 1987 SJ410, with some friends. We plan to buy a couple, tweak / repair a bit and then do a tour of Europe hopefully down to Istanbul around the black sea and back! I'm after a couple of bits of info though. Firstly the SJ has come with Macho Greenway 235/75R15 tyres. When I look on the Wealden tyres website they state that the Greenway allegator is not road legal, and therefore presumable the macho is ok. www.wealdentyres.co.uk/offroad-driving.htmbut then the TyreMonkey website states that Greenway Tyres are not road legal www.tyremonkey.co.uk/tyres/4x4-tyres/greenway-tyres/index.htmlDoes anyone know if these tyres are road legal and is there something like a logo or number etc on a tyre that confirms this? Secondly once we have got the SJ working properly we want to get some off road / green laning experience for beginners. Does anyone know anywhere around the Maidstone / Kent area where we could get a bit of experience? Cheers all and long live the midlife crisis! Andy Attachments:

I have the lanes on my satnav.. . . . . But Abdul has driven them many more times than I have, and can give you a better idea of the useable lanes around maidstone.....probrably
I won't be laning again until end sept as I have a french trip soon.
You can buy an Ordinance Survey Landranger Map and the by-ways will be marked on it as a 'dash cross' - + - + - + - +
Some of our guys may be going out on the last Sunday of this (and every) month so keep looking on here for confirmation.
