I just got this e-mail form the guys who organise the UK Rhino Charge. (The site is a 2 hour drive from Dover and 90 quid aint cheap but it is for a good cause and it does looks good) Maybe you guys can organise a group discount.
Dear Chargers and Rhino Ark Supporters,
The UK Rhino Charge is set for Sunday 6th September at Slindon 4x4 Safari near Arundel. See rhinocharge.co.ke/related-events/ or download an entry form from rhinocharge.co.ke/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/UKRC-Application-Form-2015-Final.pdf .
There will be the opportunity to camp on the night of Saturday 5th September when there will be a barbeque sponsored by Mopani Trading Company Sussex www.mopanitrading.co.uk/ subject to advance booking via rhinochargeuk@rhinoark.org .
In addition to the Rhino Charge, which the main event for those who have entered in advance and paid the full sponsorship and entry fees, a less competitive 4x4 fun event will be laid out suitable for all types of vehicle and running alongside the Rhino Charge. This will consist of optional sections, special tasks and the like. This will give 4x4 drivers the chance to drive round the site to the sections, watch the Rhino Charge, try some of the sections if they wish and experience all that Slindon has to offer for a lesser fee of £90 but without being included in the overall results.
Note that the entrant of the team which wins the UK Rhino Charge Victor Ludorum trophy for the combination of funds raised and performance in the event will be eligible for the last remaining place in the Kenyan Rhino Charge 2016 subject to raising the requisite sponsorship.
