How do samurai axles last with 35s on. Really want 35s but don't fancy fitting different axles

hi, you can go 35s but no great advantage from 33s and gearing will be the issue , sammy axcells are way to hi gearing even if you fit a 410 transfer box , we use vit diffs to gear right down with no probs and still use 413 transfer box, the vit front diff bolts strait in front sammy axcell case and we convert vit rear axcell to fit sj, hope this helps

Well iv gone and bought some 35s today lol so bit late now to change my mind. If I fit a vit back axle,will my disc conversion on rear fit the vit axle.
Also has anybody put the front vit ring and pinion in into a sammy rear.
Does it affect the vibrate if the vit axle is fitted with it being centre diff cheers

you can make disc conversion fit , if you are going to try to fit a front diff in rear samy u nead to make sure you use a 26 spline as most fronts are 22 spline as all sj are and most vits

Are vit rear half shafts same spline as a samurai. Thinking of making a hybrid axle by cutting diff centre housing out of a samurai axle and welding a vit centre in, but not sure wether sammy half shafts fit a vit diff

yes all suzuki rear shafts are same spline its the fronts they changed in later vits

all our trucks run converted vit rear axcells with some with lsd some still leaf spring but most rear coil conversion using all the vit stuff , what i can tell you its well worth doing if your going to run 35 tyres but i wont post on here how i do mine sorry ,
