Hi guys have suzuki sj samurai she is running well and idling nicely but whenever I come to a junction where I have to stop or when I stop to park up she will stall. I can depress the clutch without it stalling when the vehicle Is already still. It's only as the car comes to a stop. The harder I press the brakes to slow up for a junction the quicker the revs drop. I thought it could be servo leak but if I press the brakes when she sitting idle the revs don't drop. ( I think that's how to test?) Once she stalled no chance to start until I take foot off brakes and a few pumps of accelerator. I took the whole SU carb off earlier and cleaned it all. Doesn't seem to have any air leak at all. Rotar arm has not been changed since last post but it had the wire brush treatment and is sparkling clean. At my wits end now!! Any advice would help.

Sorry I don't know if I explained well enough but it is only when clutch down and braking to stop that it cuts out. When sitting idle clutch down and brake down and it doesn't stall

sound like the one way valve could be naff in the servo , try just let it sit and idle and pump brake peddle hard see if revs alter some one way valves are in servo pipe and some are on end of pipe were it fits onto servo , hope this helps

Idle at 2,000rpm Pressing brake pedal to ground has no effect but if i rapidly press over and over really fast (like pumping up a tyre with foot pump)the revs drop to 1,500rpm Could this be a servo problem Leigh and what would you recommend for a fix? Wouldn't be so bothered as its not every junction but mine is a daily driver and work horse. Cheers again mate

just as a temp measure try clamping off the servo pipe and try it on a quiet back road just to see if it sorts it , if that works you will knead a one way valve m8
