Hi guys, I will specific ad possible so perhaps somebody can help me find out what's wrong Started my truck this morning(first turn of the key which is unusual!) The truck is idling about 1500 rpm nicely. The problem is when I press the accelerator the revs won't go higher than 2000-2500!! If I press accelerator more the revs drop down the more I press it. I have been under the bonnet and tried manual revving with the bit under the engine and its the same. I have tried opening and closing the choke on carb but it makes no difference. Now I'm sure it means nothing but it was fine yesterday until I filled up The tank and went home, it was running smooth yesterday and the problem started this morning. Please any advice would be appreciated. I can drive it about 5mph but it won't be going up any hills for sure!!!

Okay after a tip from a mate I took the rotar arm out gave it a scratch. Stuck it back on and hey presto running like a dream. That will teach me. When I got the distributor cap and ht leads from unipart I ordered the rotar arm aswell but on 2 separate occasions they gave me the wrong part so I gave up and thought sod it mine still does the job. Better try ordering another one I suppose.
