hi guys, with the shackle reversal i take it the spring can stay the same way round??
2nd) can i make a new rear shackle with a bush to go in the existing spring mount and round the spring or do you guys use a different method...
3rd) do you keep the shackle the same length..
and finally) how far do you drop the front spring mount from the centre of the old one and is it in the same plain ie. directly inline with the old shackle bolt.
i know you are the boys to trust on this. im fully able to make and weld all the bits but im sure asking you guys for advice can point me past any unexpected problems.
cheers.
(rear coil questions to follow hehe)

make sure you move the mounts one and half inch forward from std position or wheels will foul the back of front arch on turn and flex and will lock up front prop

ok thanks. ive been having a think an was wondering about just swaping the springs on from the rear as i want to do a rear coil conversion. i think this will give me better clearance on the front is this a reasonable idea??

hi the rear springs are longer than the front you would still have to move the mounting points , you can add rear leafs into front pack but not a ideal solution as it would then be a hard ride with limited flex , we use parabolic springs off the Spanish 410 as you can re arc them and they do the job just fine you gain lift and ride and with a shackle reverse as smooth as coils without all that wanting to tip over going round a round about , iv got this set up on mine with rear 3 point linkage using all vit stuff and it works A1

we only use rear axcell from vit , the front vit diff will fit all 413 front axcells but not the 410 , the vitaras have wishbone fronts but solid rear
