Cheers Leigh ;D I'm looking forward to getting it back out in the mud Yeah the twin transfer boxes gives me gearing that is about 3 times lower than a standard 410 transfer box in Lo-lo It is a cut down Vitara transfer box with the 4wd section removed and then mated to a rock-lobster, It also means I have 20 forward ratios and 4 reverse.

That is nice. I have one of these doubler kits. Mine is an OTT Industries Kicker 3. No way is it as short & tidy as yours. I'd post a pic if the system would let me. Rock4xFabrication used to do them but your adapter is different. www.pirate4x4.com/forum/suzuki/709950-shogun-crawler-box.htmlWhat make is yours ? Where did you get it from ? "Rock Lobster" seem to be t-case reduction gear sets. As for the skid plate, that thing looks ready for the end of the world. Hummers have less protection. I like it.

do the standard halfshafts take the extra torque of the under drive box ok? I haven't broken one yet, I ran it for just over a year with the doubler and a 410 tbox and I only ever broke a few CVs. Now with the gearing dropped again with the added rocklobster they still seem to be holding up but I have got a full float converted rear axle with chromo shafts and some Chromo front shafts and CVs to fit to be on the safe side and keep it reliable. I am quite a gentle driver 90% of the time though and let the gearing do the work so don't break things that often.
