im thinking of converting to a pickup, i have had a trawl through the threads and havent found anyones here. i know some of you guys have done them, do you have any guides on best way to go about it or pics?? do you tend to butt it straight down to the floor or fold them so u have more surface area to join etc. any info would be appreciated.

hi some use a tin top rear door and weld it in to truck cab there's

thanks, i did manage to fine some pics in the forecourt section in the end too, most seemed to rivet them in.. does this have any advantage over welding?? ie. does it let it flex and do they sp[lit when welding??

hi iv seen them riveted,welded and screwed in all seem to work ok

I did mine slightly different to most, I like the open back in the summer so just used a pick up rear door, welded it in and and cut down a soft top for the back. Not a great pic but it shows you what I mean.
