hi! new to the forum, have had a samurai off roader for a while now (currently in pieces for a bigger better rebuild plan!). i also have a road going samurai which with great sadness is for sale as i need a baby friendly eco drive about  very interested in the competition trucks and which competitions as my new baby restricted budget lends itself to the occasional off road experience when i have some pocket money to do so. cheers. |

thanks for the welcome guys. well the road going sj is in daily use, just had engine service, oil, filters, plugs leads cap etc. 97000 miles, it doesnt smoke as i have heard these engines can get a little smokey. starts every time with a tad of throttle, someone with knowledge of these carbs im sure would be able to fine tune that out as they look complex to me. recent new clutch, the bumpers had been removed so it has 2 small light pods at the front instead. soft top is torn at rear corner and i havent attempted to take it down with out a replacement at hand. front axle is a bit weepy. all 4 wheel drive works. its practically standard all but some comfy subaru bucket seats and some kuhmo mud/road tyres. i can get some pics up in the day light or email them on....
