Hi In response to the boring thread I thought I would ask a question ive been wondering for a while. Do you think its worthwhile buying a cheap car and breaking it (for parts) not like that video where a guy called Tom destroys a disco. I have found a couple on the bay for £250 ish and phoned reclamet who will give £100 for a car as long as it has wheels for them to collect. Surely it must be possible to clear a couple of hundred on bits? Any ideas, opinions, experiences. I tried it with a kia sportage but couldn't be bothered and sold it straight away for a small profit somehow.

True, I guess it depends on finding a cheap enough car to start with.

I used to do it with mondeos MK1 made alot of money in begining but then people squeeled to dvla and police about a car i had that i was stripping i ended up paying a big fine so make sure u got some where to put it off road that the buggers cant get to and its popular so lots of bit sell and sell cheap cos then they go quicker. i broke 1 car every 2 wks the rest i scrapped but metal was a better price at the time! GO FOR IT I SAY!
