Hi all!
I come accross this site from watching a video on you tube of a blue vitera with 35 inch boggers, so here i am
Names phil, im from south wales (cwmbran) im 24 and looking to come back on to the scene after personal circumstances made me sell my jeep back in 2007, ive attached a photo of it!
Basically had to sell my mobile disco partnership and will have £400 available in jan sometime, so will be looking for a cheapish vitara.. although prices have shot through the roof, which im hoping is down to the weather!
Just missed a chevvy geo LHD, imported from states with tax/test for £500, needed a half diff as 4x4 wasnt working... gutted! so i know theres cheap vittys out there, will have to bide my time!
Basically looking at then doing a 2 inch body, 2 inch suspension, of which should just get away with the cv joint/driveshaft problems! so i hope, which is why im here to seek advice and help! im then looking at a set of 31 inch tyres, roof rack light bar, home made snorkel and that will probaly be it for a while, ill then get bits and bobs like waffle boards, winch etc...
Well thats a bit about me and what i want to acheive in the next 12 months, money permitting, i work with a good friend/brother in law and we hunt for scrap like the pikeys and also collect pallets as theres some money in it! ;D not a lot, but it ticks me over nicely especially on the good days - i might be a scrounger but i get paid
