went to have a look at sj 1000cc soft top on a D 1986. it needs a new head and it has been sitting for about 2 1/2 years it looks in good nick but don't know if it is worth getting . sorry forgot to get a pic

thats not bad if got tandt on it head gasket aint hard to do,just depend how solid underneath and bits r mate

did not look under neath but every where els and the only bit of rust is on the one back arch and that is only small. but are they any good

there good indeed mate,i,d have another if thered all fit but they wont lol,they tend to rot under plastic sills if fitted and quite a few places out of site underneath,if u think about buying it when u go back look all underneath especially around back floor where it meets rear arches abdul will tell u where else to check mate aint had one for a while

i have decided not to get it. i will wait till summer time and get a jimmy , the wife likes them so she can have a go .

talk to leigh about them mate loads on here have had them and u have to upgrade a lot of it to cope with offroading

SJ's are well good m8 mine started as a 1.0 then finished as a 1.6 monster truck with 35" Swamper tyres was a well good jeep

well i have got the shogun and astra , I'm thinking of replacing the astra with a little 4x4 for the wife . but not shore what to do , I'm going to think about a bit longer.

well it will have to be a jimmy then because the wife will be using it every day . so get the asrta gone in the new year look for a jimmy, and do some thing with the shogun
